1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Swiptales, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Credits and Purchases

Credit System

Swiptales uses a credit-based system for AI video generation:

• 10-second videos cost 10 credits
• 15-second videos cost 15 credits

Purchasing Credits

Credits can be purchased through in-app purchases via the Apple App Store. All purchases are:

• One-time purchases — there are no subscriptions
• Non-refundable — except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policies
• Non-transferable — credits cannot be transferred between accounts

Failed Generations

If a video generation fails due to a technical error on our end, the credits used will be automatically refunded to your account.

4. AI-Generated Content

Content Creation

Swiptales uses artificial intelligence to generate video stories based on your text prompts. You understand that:

• AI-generated content may not always match your expectations
• Results may vary and are not guaranteed to be identical for similar prompts
• Generation times may vary depending on server load and complexity

Content Ownership

You retain rights to the videos you create through the App, subject to the following:

• By publishing content on Swiptales, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the App and for marketing purposes
• You may unpublish or delete your content at any time
• We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Swiptales to:

• Create, upload, or share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
• Generate content that depicts violence, hate speech, or discrimination
• Create content that infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights
• Generate NSFW (Not Safe For Work) or sexually explicit content
• Attempt to bypass content filters or safety measures
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without our written consent
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure or other users' experience
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
• Create multiple accounts to abuse the credit system or free credits

6. Content Moderation

We reserve the right to:

• Review and moderate content created or published through the App
• Remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable
• Suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate our content policies
• Use automated filtering to prevent prohibited content from being generated

7. Intellectual Property

The Swiptales app, including its design, features, code, branding, and logo, is owned by Swiptales and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
• Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without permission
• Claim ownership of the App's technology or AI capabilities

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• Uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of the App
• Accuracy or reliability of AI-generated content
• Availability of the service at all times

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Swiptales shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Swiptales, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Content you create, publish, or share through the App
• Your violation of any rights of another party

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App ceases immediately
• Any unused credits may be forfeited
• We may delete your account and associated data

You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
